My name is Richard Metzger. I am a fashion designer hailing from fabulous, bustling and exciting New York City, but for all the attractions and wonders this versatile metropolis has to offer, I am constantly seeking new and different adventures around the world.

 I love working as a fashion designer, but my true passion is to travel to exciting destinations and immerse myself in the mysteries and beauty of every kind of culture. Whatever time I am not spending working or travelling I spend on planning my next trip. The hundreds of hours I have dedicated to planning travels and vacations make me an expert at making sure I get the most out of any destination, no matter how long the trip or how remote the location. Friends and family even come to me for travel planning and advice!

 My passion for travelling resides in my never-ending desire to dwell in – to me – exotic fashions and events. Of course the scenery is often as breathtaking as the customs and colorful attire, and I always take full advantage of everything any given trip has to offer. I’ve taken some breathtaking photographs over the years, some of which are posted on this blog, but have spent more time taking everything in unburdened by the limited view of a lens. To me, every trip is an opportunity to broaden my understanding of the world, its wonders and inhabitants.

My passion for world culture and fashion is such that I wish to share it with you, kindred spirit, travel enthusiast and curious mind.
